“Facing Modern Public Policy Concerns: Academic Analysis and the Policy-Making Process”

In collaboration with Lomonosov Moscow State University – Department of Public Policy and Administration (Faculty of Political Science) and the Center for Crisis Society Studies

Tuesday, April 25th – Sunday, April 30th

(Arrival Day: April 24th)

Deadline of Applications for students residing in Russia: Friday, April 7th 2017

The International Association for Political Science Students (IAPSS), the Center for Crisis Society Studies and the Public Policy Department of the Faculty of Political Science at Lomonosov Moscow State University launch the Call for Applications for its upcoming Study Trip to Moscow. During one week, participants will visit the very heart of the Russian Federation – discovering the city and exploring the history of the largest country on earth.

At the same time, the academic part of the study trip will be dedicated to the modern problems of academic and action-oriented public policy. Nowadays the decision-making processes occur on highly complex circumstances and (consequently) modern governments and stake-holders require comprehensive analysis on the matter. Having in mind that this realm plays a central role within political science, the IAPSS Study Trip to Moscow will provide a great opportunity to learn from outstanding Russian scholars and practitioners in the field of public policy.

If you are inspired by the idea of participating in truly challenging academic debates, exchanging your experience with students from all over the world and visiting Russian state authorities and leading think tanks in Moscow, don’t hesitate to join us on April 2017!
