Encuentro Latinoamericano: Revista de Ciencia Politica (ELA) is a new IAPSS publication focussing on Latin American politics. The languages of publication are English, Spanish and Portuguese, with all articles accompanied by English abstracts. Aiming at students of all degrees and young researchers in the field of political science and related studies with a strong Latin American focus, ELA enables young academic talents to publish at the beginning of their careers.
High Quality Review Process
The Editorial Board of ELA is committed to publishing high quality research articles and uses a double blind peer-review process for each submission, similar to the review process of POLITIKON – IAPSS’ oldest journal. The reviewers of the journal are young researchers (PhD candidates, post-doctoral students, teaching assistants and assistant professors) with a strong expertise in Latin American issues and the prospective articles in question.
Published Twice a Year
The frequency of publication of ELA is bi-annual, with the two regular issues being scheduled for appearance normally in April and October of each year. Special thematic or conference-based issues may be published on an occasional basis.
