Other requirements:
The dissemination of research results will be decided by the members in cooperation with the Academic Department of IAPSS and could include conference papers, journal papers, blogposts (for example, at IAPSS blog A Different View) and other. Members of the ATT and the ACOM will gain valuable experience with quality management of a global academic conference and useful contacts to other colleagues in the discipline and their more specific research field.
All positions are unpaid but travel grants will be awarded to those members presenting papers related to the ATT at IAPSS conferences in 2018, budget allowing, and fee waivers will be granted to all ACOM members present at the two main IAPSS conferences in 2018. Special panels can be scheduled to present and discuss the work of the ATT members.
In order to apply please send us your CV and cover letter (max. 2 pages), outlining your motivation to be part of the ATT and the ACOM, and your main contribution and approach. Applicants should also submit a writing sample (max. 15 pages, preferably, but not necessarily, linked to the topic). While members of the Academic Think Tank and the Academic Committee are required to be members of IAPSS it is possible to join once you have been selected. Applications should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 11 October 2017. We look forward to receiving your applications.
