IAPSS is registered as a legal entity under Dutch Association law with the Chamber of Commerce of Nijmegen (the Netherlands) registrant no. 58982841, deposited at the Directorate Centraal-Gelderland, and therewith responsible financially to Dutch authorities, respectively.

While the financial and administrative reports of the Association, issued before the IAPSS General Assembly, are available for members only at a separate platform, the key documents constituting IAPSS’ legal framework are available below:
The IAPSS Statutes constitute the overall framework of the Association and describe the division of power between and the responsibilities of the IAPSS General Assembly, the IAPSS Executive Committee and the IAPSS Supervisory Committee as well as the execution of the elections of all core bodies of the Association.
The IAPSS Internal Regulations determine the Association’s framework in detail and include chapters on all bodies and the key mechanisms that shape the operation of IAPSS. The Additional Protocol to the IAPSS Internal Regulations sets up two consultative committees of the Association: The Diversity and Anti-Discrimination Committee and the Recruitment Committee.
The IAPSS Financial Regulations frame the set-up, operation and reviewing procedures of the Association’s budget and financial administration and determine the key responsibilities centered around the three legal representatives of the Association* incl. the IAPSS Treasurer as well as the IAPSS Supervisory Committee which is in charge of the bi-annual financial audit.
The IAPSS Rules of Procedure predominantly define the organisational procedures that frame the execution of the bi-annual IAPSS General Assembly.
* For the legislative period of 2017-18 (ending as of 31 May 2018), the three legal representatives of the Association are: Kateryna Dyshkantyuk (IAPSS President), the IAPSS Secretary-General and the IAPSS Treasurer (positions currently vacant).
Documents issued by the IAPSS Executive Committee
The IAPSS Declaration on Plagiarism outlines the position of IAPSS towards instances of plagiarism and the procedure of detecting and reporting plagiarism cases in all kinds of submissions.
The Rules of procedure for the IAPSS Board specify the discussion formats and decision making processes within the IAPSS Board and the Executive Committee in particular.
